I saw about 5 minutes of one episode which is about 4 minutes more than most people saw. I wish I was one of those people!
If it's a film, could also be "Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis". Been a while since I saw it, but it's about a stuck-up female pop star (Jane Horrocks) ... and her manager (Rik Mayall) who is trying to have her killed for insurance purposes.
