thought there would be a thread somewhere. But still. F**king genius.

F**king wanker more like.

Depends what mood I'm in.

Well I'm never in the mood for that twat.

Really?

I think he's really really funny. He's probably one of my top 10 comedy characters of all time.

No way J...........Just think he's an overblown c**t.

In fact, it's probbaly off topic anyway so let's just have a chat.

So, what are some of your favourite top ten comedy characters of all time

Some of mine are

Mrs Merton
Borat
Alan Partidge
the 'Hello Dave' guy off League of Gentlemen
Stewie off Family Guy
Meg off Family Guy
Basil Fawlty
Dwight off the American Office
Ralf off the Simpsons
Holly off Red Dwarf - the stupid guy version
the 'Yeeeeeesssssssss' guy off the Simpsons

Ummm, I'm not a fan of lists as they are so subjective - the IMDB seems riddled with them and with people posting them ad nauseam.

However, also I suspect that we are of two completely different generations and our tastes are going to vary widely - you like Borat, I don't. And so it is mainly between my son and me, but my daughter likes what I like mostly - f**k, now I am confused. :S

If you know who HGT is (my avatar) you would know that I am a big fan of The Goon Show and so I won't give you a top ten, but just say any character created by Spike Milligan or Peter Sellers and Hancock, played of course by Tony Hancock.

I also like some of those on your list, but if I was ever on Desert Island Discs and had only a choice of three, then the ones above would be it - the rest I can take or leave. :)

I've never seen Borat but I did want to. Trouble is I don't know anyone who has it.

I genuinely came close to passing out laughing at the Borat movie.
