What's in a Name?

I recently tuned in to watch the first episode of 'The Driver', a new drama serial starring David Morrissey.

As soon as I saw him I recognised him but he came as a bit of a surprise to me as I'd been expecting the bloke from 'Men Behaving Badly'.

In a similar vein, I recently tuned in to watch a comedy spectacular fronted by Sean Walsh,

As soon as I saw him I recognised him but he came as a bit of a surprise to me as I'd been expecting Sean Locke.

The above is entirely true, I assure you.

Does anybody else get people's names mixed up?

Mark Steel and Mark Thomas.

I agree.

The Lees also confuse me though not the one on the BCG obviously.

It took me a while before I realized that Alan and Jimmy Carr are two different persons. I must be one of the few members here who prefers Jimmy (by far).

How did you manage to choose between two wankers?

Jimmy Carr is a funny wanker

Alan Carr is a moronic, talentless prat

And a wanker

Me too. Stewart Lee was the guy from Enter the Dragon and Bruce Lee is married to Agatha Christie I think. Not to be confused with Bridget Christie who was married to Sylvester Stallone in the 80s. Sylvester Stallone was the cat who terrorised Speedy Gonzalez. Speedy Gonzalez directed Sin City with Frank Miller. Frank Miller was one of the Beyond The Fringe team with Dudley Moore, who was James Bond.

That.

Except Lee did Welcome Home with Peters. Frankie Miller did Darlin'. Christie did Yellow River. Sylvester did You Make Me Feel Mighty Real and Gonzalez did Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet. Adele did Bond. Dud did the piano. Byron Lee did a lot with the Dragonaires and Artists United Against Apartheid refused to do Sun City.

What's in a name?

The letters A twice and NME.
