Sorry Soots... you are correct of course. The joke started as a sketch idea, Pierre talking with Marie... but the only decent gag ended up as a simple joke... I have a couple of others which I'll post to the right place. Cheers.

I have to take issue with the above joke. I suppose next you'll be telling us she was an early proponent of String Theory?

And what of her collaboration with H G Wells on that little-known unpublished classic of feminist literature "The Time-of-the-Month Machine"?
