UCB Level 101 in London: Improv Fundamentals

Legendary American Improv school the Upright Citizens Brigade are coming to London to teach a full level one course in improv fundamentals in February 2015. Easier and cheaper than flying out to LA or New York to do it there. THis is a great chance to study with some of the best improv teachers working today.

Has this course been prepared in advance or will they do it right off the tops of their heads on the day?

Laughing out loud

There's a full curriculum as it's a nationally accredited school, slowly populating large swathes of comedy talent behind and in front of the camera in New York and LA. UCB Training Center teachers and alumni include writers and performers for Saturday Night Live, Parks and Recreation, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Colbert Report, Key & Peele, 30 Rock, The Office, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Funny or Die, Happy Endings, The League, Children's Hospital, and many other hit television shows and movies.

Yup. You've rumbled them. Well done you. And you're right, you can't teach the hilarious ability you've displayed to link Los Angeles or the idea of a syllabus with Scientology.
No improv teacher will ever teach you how to be funny (and in your case -there's nothing to teach as you've clearly *nailed it*). The will go over the fundamentals of a very particular artfom and help you with all the acting training you need to connect with an ensemble and create beautiful, moving, hilarious spontaneous theatre. Although they will all secretly dream of scaling the giddy heights of your Christmas Cracker level wit. Maybe you should open a school?

Nailed it again! I'm only getting alerts for *lazy comedy target* and *lazy incitement to religious hatred*. Great work.
