I heard Tom Cleverly being interviewed tonight on the wireless and no, he doesn't live up to his name.

That's called a goal and what you have to do is kick the ball into it. Everybody OK with that? You OK with it Wayne?'
It couldn't help if Roy is going to hide the ball up his jacket.
He's not as lumpy as many ex players younger than him tho. LeTissier and Merson always looked liked they liked a pie or two when playing, now after retiring we know they do. Everyone's expecting Rooney to blow up like a balloon when he finishes.

Micky Quinn always loved a pie, but, to be honest, who doesn't?
My team Sutton United are away to FC Romania in the 2nd Qualifying round of the FA Cup.
I think I might become an honorary Scouser tonight.
It would be good to see them do well in the competition.
In a way I was hoping that an actual League Champion might win tonight.
Well, the Scousers lucked out, IMHO.
And not just in the penalty they should have had against them.
No fan of Suarez (the man, not the player) but Balotelli needs to learn to get the ball from under his feet if he's going to be any sort of replacement.
He could have scored about 5 times if he'd got his boots in the right order.
In fact everybody's first touch was a bit rubbish.
They need to step up or they won't pose much of a threat in the competition.
Good news about the Arse, though....
Are we all being nice and not asking Gordon about last night?

And Basle are no push-over - on paper, better than Ludo.
Liverpool have got a hill to climb to get out of the group, that's for sure.

Basel is in a crisis at the moment. The new manager seems to have no real concept, the players are confused. We're even strugggling in the national league. I'm not even sure we can beat Ludo...at the moment.
So no worries for Liverpool.
Typical Bayern...last minute goal.
Greg Dyke is off again.
"I think B teams in a competitive environment is still a possibility."

I'm guessing your feelings about Bayern are similar to mine about Manure.
