Scottish Referendum Comedy?

Is there any kicking about out there?
Or anything in the pipeline that anyone knows of or would recommend?

How could a nation decide its fate without the help of third rate comedians? I'm sure that back in 1215 the signing of the Magna Carta was preceded by months of jesters frolicking like a bunch of wopping tits to help everyone make up their minds. Anyway, here's Hector Nicol with the most Scottish album I own.

If I understand correctly, the jester was often the one person who could effectively question the king without risking too much wrath. As such I imagine that they may well have had an influence on the kings thoughts before Magna Carta.
