Why they stopped making Spangles is a mystery to me - they were the sweets of my childhood and were still being made into the 80s I believe.
So many varieties too!
Here's just a few:-

I liked Pacers
Like starburst - but mint flavoured
And there was Double Agents
Which were good , but I nearly choked to death on one
My dad had to turn me upside down and shake me by the ankles until it was ejected from my wind pipe
Everything in the 70's was dangerous for kids

I think paedos had a pretty easy time living their filthy lifestyle too didn't they?
Certainly don't remember them!
Spira chocolate bar.
Also what Wine Gums used to be like, which is totally different.
Kit Kat - not the bar obviously but the original wrapper!
Slip the paper sleeve off and slit down the inner foil with your thumbnail to break off a single finger - so sensual!
God damn, I just want to have one more Pyramint!

You can still get them. Saw them in Tesco today.
And who remembers Watney's Party 7 eh? Not me, I was born in 1981.
I do remember cola flavoured Mr T ice lollies though.
Any of these:
