Yeah it on a residental writing course and we have been told there is NO internet.
(I have many plans though, lots of automation and control panels, tropical fish tanks in place of some walls, creating a soothing blue-y glow, many TVs and InterWeb-ness...)

It's just Moose, there is no plural (it's a Native American word). And yes it is a Canadian animal but they can also be found in parts of Northern US. They're kick ass animals I used to see them a lot when I lived in Sudbury Ontario. They also taste superb.
I saw some of a Grand Designs episode last week (?) where a man and a lady had their house built in gothic style, with arched doorways and everything.
I WANTED IT SO MUCH.
