Ah, I'm trying to stamp out the use of the work geek, I prefer boffin, 'cos I don't like being referred to as a chicken-killin-head-biting-carnival-freak-show.

I don't think that the Glorious Leader will be very appreciative of any attempts to end the use of "geek"!

But, I suppose there must be other words for it...

Boffin is quite sweet.
Boffin's different though, surely? It implies deep, intricate knowledge, whilst geek implies a kind of, errr, 'enthusiasm' AND knowledge - just not necessarily quite as deep.
