Which are the best Screaming Trees albums (Mark Lanegan)? Anyone know?

It's not Lennon who's wearing the sandals... :O

No - it's McCartney because this was a sign that he was dead.

No, it surprised many when Abbey Road came out that it was Macca walking bare foot across the zebra crossing. One theory is he was trying to get one over on Lennon or even take the Mick out of him.

This was when they'd totally fallen out but I don't know if it was really any more than not wanting to wear shoes on a hot day. Anyone else know of any supposed reasons?

Oh yes. I never understood that tho.

Yes. Plenty for the conspiracy theorists to go on !

Blimey all that was new to me. Was it cheeky Paul being mischievous or has someone concocted all that around a photo of them dressed in a random way?

Interesting list. I have 84 out of this top 100 in my CD collection. The ones I don`t have are the rap and DJ albums...and two or three of the jazz ones. I`m 37...but my collection says I`m 73. :O

Well there are several acts there who I've never heard but know the name...

but who the hell are Neutral Milk Hotel? They've got tobe taking the piss.

Oh shit. There's 1,000 of them. I meant from the top 100.

I've got 33 (and a third) of them only.

I didn't know them either, but I listened to them the other day. Wasn't blown away, but maybe I need to try them again. Ween are also supposed to be an important band; they impressed me a bit more, but again, I wasn't knocked out. Yet.

Oh, so that's it.

The reason why in spite of 2014 some of us are still here.
