That was fun.
Re-run of Ken Bruce's Pop Master from this morning.
Go in about an hour. Quite a strange person.

You tube is quite God really because you don't know where it will lead you. Listened to Honaloochie Boogie by Mott the Hoople hoping for some Alex Harvey or Heavy Metal Kids but it let to City Boy who I did like but only knew about half a dozen songs. I think basically their timing was bad being around at the dawn of punk. Of course they had one big heat with 5705 but they were much in the vein of 10cc or Steely Dan.
The Hap ki-do kid.

Was that they guy from Devon who was sitting in a car park whilst sitting his Popmaster challenge? I really want to be on Popmaster, but I am very sad and want a T-shirt which shouts out quite how tragic I am.
That was him. Saw it mentioned on facebook so decided to listen.

A New York band who are fairly new, but what I've heard of them is pretty good.
Just got a Spencer Davis CD.
I knew it would be a bit dodgy as it was on the Hallmark label. They never give any info - just track names and writers.
The hits are live versions without Stevie Winwood - hence no GROUP mention.
It's not bad but waiting for the Dusty collaboration on "Private Number".
