I think the HDMI connection has gone on my telly
The other inputs seem to work so I'm surviving with a mix of Netflix & freeview but it isn't easy

I may need to connect Virgin media up using a .. Scart lead (do they still work?)

Have you got an HDMI2 input you could try?

I've tried all 3
I've got a PS3 as well as that isn't coming through
Only the AV red white & yellow & hopefully the Scart are working
Luckily there's plenty on Netflix

On some TVs you can switch off inputs, so only the ones you use appear on the list. Check the settings.

I did try
I'll have another look

I hired a transvestite escort today and was planning to mostly sing to them and possibly cry, definitely not engage in penatrative sex.

Help BCG any suggestions,

Does that really work it seems so clinical.

Have you tried a different HDMI lead, Steve? Just a thought.

Did it happen during lightning?

Will there ever be an intelligent web browser which can pick up mistakes e.g. someone types in www.comedy,co.uk, but the browser then knows the comma is a mistake and forwards them to www.comedy.co.uk.

Maybe such a thing exists, but I've never been made aware of it. It's just one of those little niggles I have with the internet. It's 2014 after all.

I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to make something, seeing as you can do such things as translate into different language and have it change the text to read like a pirate would talk.

Doesn't Microsoft Word/Office and other word processing programs do that already? They highlight confragmented sentences?

Confragmented eh, get you (even though my spell check won't accept it)

I believe I just made that word up.

How interfrasticulational of you

I'm planning on getting a bluetooth speaker shortly for my various devices, but my laptop doesn't have built in bluetooth. Is the answer as simple as buying a bluetooth dongle for the laptop?

Dunno

Ain't you got an iPod?

That's got Bluetooth

I've got various devices with bluetooth, but there's going to be times when I want to play music off my laptop. That's what I'm interested in knowing a solution for.
