Ben received a 30 year old Casio watch in mint condition today and is in 80s heaven.

This was the only watch I wanted in the 80's

Pac Man FTW

My parents wouldn't get me one

T*ats

That's a cool watch. I had some Super Mario watch in the early 90s. It had some terrible graphics.

You've time-travelled to a gay club?

Most contrived joke of the week goes to... NOGGET!

I had that or a similar one too.

So get one for yourself now!
It's pretty much the only advantage of being an adult - being able to get all the shit no one bought you as a child. ;)

They still would have beaten you up and given you wedgies at school, Lofty. ;)

Ben is packed full of work, but is going to find time to nip to the supermarket.

Personally, I'd buy them one of those 30 Day contract thingies

Good idea, I might just do that.

My girlfriend's little sister just ran up a £65 phone bill and her mum went mental.

Personally, I'd buy them one of those 30 Day contract thingies and if they use their credit, tough luck! No risk of over charges. If there's an emergency situation? Maybe there's an app or setting on the phone that will reserve the last 10 mins of talk time each month?

Very educational as it will allow them to decide whether or not to spend pocket money on phone facilities.

I seem to recall that in extreme emergencies mobile phones will call 999 even if the account has no money. But this needs checking (and NOT by actually trying that ! )

Yes, they will. Also, if you're on Vodafone, but have no signal and ring 999, your phone will connect to other networks in order to get you through to the emergency services.

Last minute overnight trip with family. Accommodation is a cabin a caravan park. All very nice but I'm currently lying in the middle of a set of three bunk beds. There are the kind that looks like someone just attached a few shelves to the wall. I'm fairly sure are not intended for anyone over 12.
Not entirely sure how to get down, if I Sit up I'n going to knock my head.

I've just emailed the AA ( no, not the drinky one) to ask them to have another look at their quote for my cover for the next twelve months. They're asking for £104 per quarter. Green Flag's on line quote came back as £111 for the year!

Well if you will insist on ringing them every night to tow you home from the pub OR...

And that's without the car !

Managed to get out of the bunk without breaking anything, but seem to have hurt my neck.
