I remember she posted that she was leaving this forum because she didn't like anyone here, apart from one or two people. I think she removed that comment though, so I'm going to try to believe she didn't really mean it.

I have said that to RCP before - I mean it in a jokey rather than offensive way. Obviously can't speak for Nat (don't know the girl) but it is easy for tone and nuance to get lost on the internet.

I've met Nat in real life and she was pleasant enough. She did come across quite precious on here though which became rather tiring. Therefore any dismissive comments are viewed, by me, to contain some venom. You, though, Jennie are a delight and I would always know it's in jest.
I imagine that in her chosen career Jennie comes across aggressive sociopaths on a regular basis and is therefore better equipped to deal with this forum than most of our female posters. (There is keewik of course, put she is Scottish.)
Since "wick" is defined as to remove liquid, she probably does, yes. Try and stop her.

I'm still trying to imagine how she could have disagreed with almost everything you said, since I haven't noticed you being controversial. I have this vision of her reading a status update like "Ben is thinking about going cycling later" and her shouting 'No!' at the computer screen.

Side-stepping the bit about female posters (I think if we had a BCG "strop and flounce" count - the boys would come out well on top) I definitely feel I have some expertise in the area.
