Quote: Godot Taxis @ 12th May 2014, 1:01 PM BSTI've actually met Carl Jenkinson's Mum, rather bizarrely.
Blimey!
Quote: shaggy292 @ 11th May 2014, 8:59 PM BSTWho would have thought Godot once met the mum of the highest scoring player on the final day, Carl Jenkinson?
It's Harry Hillesque.

Quote: Godot Taxis @ 12th May 2014, 1:25 PM BSTHas anyone else noticed the resemblance between the stand up comedian Eden Hazard and TV performer Lee Nelson?
I didn't see it til the Cardiff game.
Funnily enough I nearly posted a similar one the other day, comparing Andre Schürrle to Hugh Dennis.
If you think of any more, Godot, add them to this thread if you wish:

There's a triple Samir Nasri lookalike if you scroll down the first page.
On Sky Sports News tonight, I was thinking that Lee Hendrie was looking like a Spitting Image puppet version of Robbie Williams.
Back on topic, congrats to Steve for making it all look so easy and effortless when we all know it isn't, and big thanks to him and to all for the banter.
Quote: Godot Taxis @ 12th May 2014, 2:00 PM BSTCongratulations to Steve for winning the BCG clique by a convincing margin.
He's too modest to admit it but on GW26 he was 599th out of a field of 3,218,882 which is a simply stupendous achievement
Was anyone following the climax to the league overall? If so, how much drama was there? I see that the winner won by a single point. I'm sure Godot will be pleased to hear that the winner's team name was Captain Suarez! While Steve might be interested to know that in 6th place was Real Mayonnaise.
The Badge, Chappers, Shaggy mini-league was an enjoyable roller-coaster, though Chappers' team selection became a little too predictable. Badge was infuriatingly good, and I never stopped looking over my shoulder. I think Shaggy and I shared a similar attitude to the game and to players, so that made for an exciting match-up.
Quote: don rushmore @ 11th May 2014, 4:55 PM BSTIt's been a fun 9 months.
Yep, and in the words of a famous Hollywood actor, "it's been emotional."
