People Just Do Nothing

Surprised there's not a thread already for this, except one from a few years back in Critique (back in their YouTube days) that was mostly ignored. The four-part series is still on iPlayer for another month. It's the best new sitcom I've seen from this country in recent memory. The three main characters are top-notch. I hope that via the iPlayer launch and the TV broadcast later in the year, they go on to another, longer series.

Anyone else watched it?

Yes. It's really funny! The only downside is the Brentism that creeps in from time to time.

Also someone I went to school with plays the stripper in episode 3. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Yeah, I agree. Really funny, but there is a lot of David Brent in there. Like when they say "so?" after every sentence. But great characters, well acted and plenty funny. I watched them in my lunch hour often spitting out my sarnie over my keyboard. This got picked up after they made a web series for YouYube, right? So well done them!

Worryingly incomprehensible. I couldn't see the humour, or understand the dialogue. I am too old!!
