What are you watching on TV? Page 1,954

That's my favourite chat up line.

Does it work?

Just watched 'White House Down'. The tour guide was the star. The wee girl was a total pain in the arse, needed strangled at birth.

Women keep saying that to me, it's hurtful.

It's incomprehensible it's from an age when to be mentally ill or learning disabled was to be a 3rd class citizen.

Edwina Currie said there was nothing to suggest Savile working at Broadmoor was a problem or strange

HE WAS A BLOODY DISC JOCKEY!!!

which gormless bastard thought THAT was a sensible option?

Unfortunately the treatment of mentally ill and learning disabled people by the NHS from the 40s to the 80s, raising serious, serious questions about it's efficacy as it is currently run.

Sounds like we've got another one of those 'real world' types on our hands. Rolling eyes

Did you get permission from Cliquehead?

Just Watched Quadrophenia On Itv4+1

So I've just switched the TV on to be greeted by the intellectual soup pot that is Loose Wimmin. They were taking about the price of milk, although I missed the context, it was a deep and meaningful discussion, no doubt! I found it interesting that the audience applauded every time one of the panel made a "good" point, especially about lowering the price of milk! Although I did wonder if the same audience had accidentally wondered into the wrong studio and year, and missed the recording of Through the Keyhole, where they applaud every time a contestant solves a clue, which is pretty much constantly.
