Why? Surely you've got some to work out averages. After all this is the way they calculate viewing figures.
Ask 10 people what they watch then multiply it out.

Are you using SPSS to log all this data? That's my favorite Quantitative data logging program. Well worth taking the time to learn if you are interested in that sort of thing.
I do have a programme I am useing to log all this yes.
