I am a Producing Film and TV MA student from Bournemouth University Media School. We are currently working on a masters project which is a web series of 5 episodes (about 5 minutes each) to be shot between 4th to 14th July 2014 in Bournemouth with a very energetic and motivated team of people. The series tells the story of an ex-criminal Jack, who is seeking to start a new life but is faced with self-proclaimed keepers of law on his way and society's biases against him. He feels constantly on the edge of being bad again. It is in the form of light comedy, with a very youthful look with two other main characters Beth, mature, sarcastic but caring and Steve, the idiot who idolises Jack for his Bad Man appeal, add to the contrast of narrative.
I am writing in this regard, as we are looking for a cast for the lead role- Jack, Beth and Steve and some extras. We would be able to cover the transport, stay and food expenses for the days of the shoot and provide an IMBD credit of course!! I understand it is probably very stupid of me to think someone would be available for such a long time, be ready to do it for expense-only and work with a bunch of university students, but this is a project we want to see grow into something better and we love what we do. We can always work out the dates and schedule to accommodate other commitments of the cast.
