That is something you could do. Their European policy is pretty simple, Referendum and hopefully an exit from the EU. Nigel has said they're working on their domestic policies and manifesto over the summer.

By why wait? Why not make up your own policies for UKIP? It's exciting and imaginative, like trying to guess what will happen in the next series of your favourite drama.

The press has been doing it for the last few months, so why not join in on the libel? Even a BBC News political editor joined in on the jokes.

Yes, it's very simple. Good that they're going to try and toss together some other ones over the summer. Also good that you don't let an overall lack of current policies stop them from speaking to you as a party.

Sometimes all you need is a strong, charismatic leader who members of the public identify with. And other times, you just have to look at the current immigration figures - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25135418

You could also look at the records of the previous parties and how they made promises on manifestos and policies that they never delivered.
