Was that the error message? Harsh.

I made some good friends on 4laughs and was a big fan of the Caption Comps and Comedy Ladder. There was a feeling at the time that because it was run by C4/Baby Cow that the Comedy Ladder did mean something.
It might have done if they'd kept it going but it's a moot point as they ended it quite early on I felt. It's interesting that as soon as they closed the ladder down the site emptied..
Btw Henry Normal (Baby Cow) judged some of competitions in the early days - before his fee ran out I guess..

Was Ruby an early member too?
I joined about 6 months down the line
We only came in on it about a year ago.
I only joined up to protect MC001 in case Dave and Frank were dangerous sex fiends... I'm not entirely sure what the end verdict was.
I just joined through peer pressure, posted a couple of times but only got replies from people I knew from here...so didn't return. Meh! I don't like the website, or that I have to sign in about 20 times just to get to my bit.
Ah happy days - those ever-shifting goalposts and remember the fight thread? That was one of the most enjoyable things about it!
Aah the fight thread. Those were the days. 4laughs was certainly good for me in the early days (I joined late 2006).
4laughs have been encouraging to me in writing comedy reviews, especially Fay. I like the site and they've given my 'Bruceboy' reviews a good airing - I'm grateful for that. I think people tend to have two problems - (1) technical issues, (2) thinking it's a legup into the biz. It ain't but what is?
