'As seen on TV'

When have you been on?

I was seen crossing the finishing line in the 1998 London Marathon

I also made a cheque for Children in Need that was shown in the main studio (but not me) and I did a mock up newspaper for a Jimmy Saville Fix-it show. :D

Oh, I provided the Thomas Cook logo artwork for the Peterborough United football shirts used for the 1992/3 season which was shown on TV several times Laughing out loud

I've been on TV five times, and mentioned a few times too. Go me!

I've had my name read out by some lovely handsome DJs: John Peel, Andrew Collins (woo) and Stephen Merchant, but I don't think I've ever been on TV. :(

Merchant said my name to Ricky Gervais! Better than TV. Right....? Teary

Actually, there was another one though I didn't actually see it myself. There was a TV show on footie manager Barry Fry on Anglia TV and there was a close up of me standing in the crowd at FA Cup replay against Wrexham.

I got a BAFTA nomination for that! Cool

Snap! I was on Anglia TV once.

The international fame and glory must have been crushing.

It's ok, the post-appearance counselling ensured I could cope.

When did that happen?! Whats your name?! I must surely have heard that/have it on record...

I was in Dad's Army

That's me on the far right if you can't tell.
Good times good times.

Laughing out loud

I was one of the identities Alister Macgowan stole in that identity theft commercial thing.

I am Riki Gervaise, you peons, now kiss my ring, as I am the pope of comedy.

*kisses*

Well... do you remember when Karl would put himself in films? He popped himself into The Graduate, chatting with Anne Bancroft. I won the competition and won his copy of The Graduate video (video! not dvd) and he sent it to me, not even rewound.

Tut.

Woah. That is really rather impressive. Did you use your divine powers to manipulate the outcome of the contest?

Yes.

But I wanted Ricky to say my name, so it didn't all go to plan.

Erm... My birthday card was read out on Milkshake when I was 5, I think that's about the closest I've come to being on TV. I've been on the radio though... (okay, I've been on KLFM... Not sure that counts as radio, as no one really listens to it, even if they get it.)
