Quite intrigued but is it very heavy going?
I mean , for a gormless ill educated cretin like myself
No, it's not heavy going at all.
I'm quite tempted to go see the stage version in the West End.

I've got an original copy somewhere too with its original staple. Danny Baker was one of the founders. I saw him once in the old Cinema Bookshop, that's now closed, near Tottenham Court Road. Very chatty, as usual, with the owner.
I found some copies of these recently from my Glam/teenybop days.
It was the first music mag I collected:
I'm pretty sure I've got that actual one. Definitely got the single of "Virginia Plain".
Mine aren't originals - they're fifty quid each!
It's a book with them all reproduced inside
Yep Baker wanted punk put into Room 101
Hippie!

I've got that one too... Somewhere. Is it an old edition? Must've bought mine over 20 years ago. Maybe thirty?
Printed in 2009 it says!
Mine looks like this:
My mate says that Viv Albertine's autobiography is very good. She was plugging it last Friday on Jools. I met her on a one week playwriting summer school at the City Lit Adult Education college in London a long time ago. She'd already moved into TV/film directing by then, but she was a student on that course. She was nice, and obviously pretty smart.
This is mine
Viv is really cool
Couldn't really get into The Slits though myself...
