That makes me want to fire swords.

'Slightly Worse' England , as it happens.
But it's better than Greater Birmingham....
A violent armed robber nicknamed the Skull Cracker is on the run.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/skull-cracker-michael-wheatley-spotted-3501377
He earned his nickname after pistol-whipping victims, including a 73-year-old woman, during bank-raids, and was given 13 life sentences in 2002 ... he went missing after being was temporarily allowed out of jail.
13 life sentences and up for parole in 8 years, but he used a replica firearm he sometimes hit people with.
I don't understand stuff.
They're going to start tagging these fellons on open release now, I don't understand stuff.

Ahem...
Lesser than England but greater
Not so happy but much happier
Thou shalt get kings though thou have none
I hope that's cleared that up. Quotes from a former resident of Greater Birmingham no less.

A few weeks ago when these girls were kidnapped, the BBC and all of the newspapers were more interested in writing fake stories about Nigel Farage. Similarly, when the lead singer of Lost Prophets went to court for raping a baby, all of the tabloids and news shows were more concerned with Nigella Lawson's coke habit.
These missing girls will only be newsworthy until something more domestic catches our eye.
I think Nigel Farrage should do the decent thing and say he wouldn't offer them asylum if he was PM.
That'll get them on the front page.
Quote: Oldrocker @ 5th May 2014, 12:10 AM BSTThere has been apoplectic outrage at the very thought here in The Black Country.
Ah, that's so sweet. Some tribes people from a spit of a town in the middle of nowhere don't want to be associated with other tribes people from a larger spit of town in the middle of nowhere.
If you look a this map of London Boroughs - http://hidden-london.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/map-of-London-boroughs-blth.png - You can see how Greater London has absorbed bits of Middlesex, Essex and Surrey. I bet if you were to ask the inhabitants now if they'd like to be removed from London, I don't think you'd get a positive reply.
As for a Greater Birmingham reviving the fortunes of the Midlanders, who knows? I once took a train from Birmingham to Cannock and the surrounding areas looked like something out of Fallout 3.

Can't we send our celebrity paedophiles out there to find them?

Not wishing to appear too provincial, one has to have been brought up Black Country to understand the contempt that Birmingham is held in.
And things always look worse looking from a train. The run into Euston is hardly picturesque.

That's a fair point.
Seeing the prediction of a doubling of Britain's non-white population to almost one in three people by 2050, and considering the falling birth rates amongst traditionally liberal populations, I find myself wondering whether politically liberal attitudes will tend to die out simply because other non-liberal cultures will out-produce them in terms of offspring.

I heard about this the other night on the news. It was in the bit just before the sport. At first thought I must have misheard because 200 children going missing isn't something you announce in the and finally part of the news.
