Weddings & stuff. Woooo!
The worst job interview you've had Page 4
Quote: RubyMae - Glamourous Snowdrop at large. @ February 22, 2008, 10:46 PMWorse interview I ever had was when I was 14 and went for a saturday job at New Look. I was this tubby spotty thing in second hand clothes and the mega cow manager practally laughed me out of the room! I ran (waddled quickly) home in tears!
Well, at least you had the confidence to try and get a job!
A little childhood trauma builds character!

Wow. You have responsibility over (apparently) the most important day in people's lives.
No pressure!
I havent had many interviews, but I rememer 2 of the worst were when there was more than one interviewer in the room. It made me uncomfortable.
As an interviewer the worst one I had was this this common tart came along for a job as a wedding planner. Low? You wouldn't believe it - but we were so desperate we gave her the job.

You wish. I would spend 8 hours a day dodging your paws.
From the other side of the fence, I did some interviewing while working in Manchester. I was the junior interviewer and so pretty much sat there, only chipping in occassionally.
Anyway, we needed a new sport reporter. The guy I'm with is a big Man City fan and his first question is 'who do you support', the reply being Man Utd.
The poor bloke didn't have a chance after that. The questions included...
Describe yourself only using adverbs.
If you were a tree, which animals would live in you?
Descrive the 1977 FA Cup final in 14 words
And - finally - would you change alliegence for this job.
I must add that the questions were nothing to do with me. Indeed, I barely chuckled!

That's hard to believe. A Manchester United supporter from Manchester.
OH OH OH I have a good one. True story here!
1-I have been looking for a graphic design job in Ottawa for months with no luck
2-I finally get this interview for Monday (it's Friday) and it looks prospective. 3-So I go out drinking with some friends to celebrate.
3-I get absolutely hammered at a bar one night
5-my friend decides to take a piss on the tree that is in the center of the patio (the deck is built around the tree).
6-There is no one out on the deck but this women who sees him doing it from the doorway and goes to tell the owner of the bar.
7-The owner and the woman comes out yelling at my friend and I start getting mouthy with the woman for sticking her nose in where it didn't belong.
8-I say some pretty nasty things to her, we finish our beers and walk home.
9-I go for the interview and the secretary says "do I know you"?
10-I say "no I don't think so, I'm new in town".
11-She asks "do you own a yellow raincoat" and that's when it hits me this secretary is the woman who I had been yelling at!
12- We are both embarrassed and both apologies to each other and I have to go in to this interview.
13-I get the job in the long run and and up being a sort of hero at the office because this secretary is a huge bitch to everyone.
End of story
Brilliant!
