What are you eating? Page 683

A Subway worker who used a bread oven to dry her wet socks and gloves has become the centre of an internal investigation after she posted a picture of her carrying out the unhygienic act on her Instagram page.

Alice Sykes, 25, uploaded the picture of her soggy clothes - a pair of purple socks and dark gloves - laid out on the heated metal racks which are used to cook bread.

Alongside the photo, she wrote: 'Socks and gloves drying in the oven at work ha #Worcester #floods #wet #gloves #socks.'

What an eejit.

Is it sliced or mashed, because it looked a bit f**ked up in the adverts.

It's mashed up.

Does it taste authentic or like it's been abused.

My preferred thing is those burrito places.

Jenny weren't you talking about baking the other day, are you torturing yourself

Basically, yes. But I have turned into an obsessive feeder. I have always liked cooking and baking and hosting dinner parties, now it has just got ridiculous.

On the plus side, I am more popular than I have ever been. Turns out, people like cake.

Just had tea of veggies and curried potato mush. Was aiming for potato chunks but cooked it a bit long and adding too much sour cream . This is why I don't cook mostly.

Peanut brittle! Mmm

It's f**king German Angry

Big ripe strawberries at 1 euro per kilo.

Not now but earlier put some bread in the oven with Cheddar and ham and topped it with mustard. MMM

Just had peanut butter on toast followed by half an avocado. What a start to the day!

I shouldn't read these pages, it always makes me hungry.
But for the record, it will be toasted home made bread with 'best butter' and marmalade before I head out into the world today.

I had a damn nice burger in some bistro type place today. I was going to go to Gourmet Burger tomorrow, but will have to think of something else now. There's only so much burger this Ben can take.

Gourmet burger bar is rather overrated.

All this fine food, is your wallet bloated with funds from your second career?

I love Gourmet Burger. Always leaves me stuffed. Not been to any of the other burger chains like Byrons to compare it too though.

The extra cash is helping fund my bon viveur lifestyle, yes!
