Song comp ...

I think this could be a runner ... how about a song competition where the theme, and the song title, are pre-selected?

Might actually end up with some usable material to send in to NewsRevue/Treason too. And it would be interesting to see how people approach the same song.

I choose "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", to the backdrop of the US elections. Quite tricky.

If anyone feels like entering then we can vote on a winner in a week.

So excuse my stupidity - we all write a song to the tune of DGBMH? Just so I know.

Yes, David.

Then we all vote for our friends' songs and the most popular person on the forum wins.

That's not a dig at BSG by the way. Every comp of this type works that way. ;)

Yeah. Maybe the theme of the election is too broad. Let's just say a parody song of DGBMH that's topical.

Thanks for pointing that one out.
In all my entries in the main sketch competition I've only ever garnered one vote. Sob. I guess that either makes me untalented or unpopular. Possibly both.

How about any song then for the US Elections?

Not thatI'm stalling or anything.

Hahaha
You big staller.
OK, any song for the US elections. That leaves the biggest scope while still setting a target.

I was curious to see how people would tackle the same song but I suppose your suggestion makes more sense.

GUYS!!!!!

James. Do you fancy taking it over. Got a new job & will be busy & working away in mid to end March. No pressure. Just do it. Laughing out loud

You dont have to if you dont want to.

Relax. You're not unpopular.
