Twinkies are a bit meh. I miss American donuts - as opposed to British doughnuts - and the only ones in this country are the massively expensive Krispy Kremes. In the US, Krispy Kreme is as low brow as our Greggs, but you wouldn't buy a sausage roll for £3.

Krispy Kremes are amazing. I'm not sure why there's not more outlets in the UK.

Ben is going to bugger off on his bike to burn a few calories.

I think they're overrated and in a recent taste test, the Greggs fancy donuts beat them hands down.

I like the English donut, no hole, all squidgy and sugary, but with jam and cream in. Not that I've had one for years.

The Greggs donuts, particularly their jaffa cake one are the best.

Jaffa cake donuts? That's an intriguing concoction. Shall head to a Greggs tomorrow!

Not for me, especially not triple choc vanilla, don't want it, don't even like the look of it. Bet it's disgusting.

But if you're going to Greggs, I'll try one, you know, as a comparison. Whistling nnocently

I second that bastard.

It's the jaffa one, it's the bastard child of a premier donut and a jaffa cake.

The sad thing is I read the article and thought, I could have written something even more anodyne and pointless, why didn't they hire me.

Greggs has gone all posh for it's sandwiches and rolls.

Bloody brown bread and the price has rocketed!

How nice that they have paired off neatly, sitcom style. Wouldn't want someone dating a doughnut outside the group.

They look good though, and no mistake.

I went to the Greggs in Wolverhampton and everything either had jam or yams in it.

The Greggs?

We've got six within about 300 yds of each other!

Yams? How exotic.

Yams? How exotic.
