Ya mad bugger. ;)
Does she just talk to you or does she read your palm or something?

She'll read her purse.

You should go Lofthouse, definitely!
But check that they see men first because some won't.

I will let you know what my lady says :)
I'll have some good news please!

Make sure you do not provide her with any verbal/physical cues that you can identify with what she is saying.

Fake psychics (and, cards on the table, I think they are all fake) will use this kind of "cold reading" to make you think they have a hit.

So sit there stoney faced and say not a word. If she really is psychic, she won't need you to confirm that you have an aunty Gladys who passed away last year.

I have arranged to go and see a psychic lady tomorrow Cool
My mum has been to her and says she is very very good, so it should be interesting...

Not that Sally fr*** (removed on legal advice) ?

It's all bollocks and a waste of money.

Ask her to read your teatowel Lofty, if she touches it then she ain't no psychic.

Announcement at the railway station. "We apologise for the delay caused by someone being hit by a train in the Hassocks area." Oooh. Sounds painful.

There are plenty of charlatans and fakers no doubt

But there's no doubt in my mind that some people are born with 'the gift'

It's fine if people don't believe , but they shouldn't belittle others who think otherwise

One shred of proof that it works and I will re-open my mind to it.

Anything at all.

Some people get messages from souls that are now in spirit and they can pass them onto living relatives

And these messages can contain advice and help to people

I definitely believe this

I don't believe all the other fortune tellers and tarot and all that though

Seems like hooey IMO

But some people believe and that's their choice

Strictly forbidden if you're Christian very naughty

Genuine messages? Specific things? Not just "tell them I love them and will always watch over them"? If there is undeniable proof of that happening, why aren't more people doing it?

I would love to believe that we could hear from the dead. I imagine anyone who has ever lost anyone would want to believe that. We all would want to think that our loved ones are safe and well and watching over us.

But that is why I think these charlatans are so immoral. They prey on the grief of others like emotional vultures.

Says who??

As Sootyj says, it's a big no no for Christians as it's not from God, rather it's believed to be the work of the other feller.
