Although I do have a non sexual crush on Sue Perkins.

Oh, me too!

Who? (Please realise some of us pensioners don't keep up).

She's a film star. Rather attractive.

What does that mean you'd cuddle her but if she got fresh you'd run a mile.

Why do you think there is a lack of emotional commitment for women but not men?

Because I've met a few bisexual ladies in my time and though they sometimes prefer sex with women, they want to have relationships with men.

I admire her and would like to spend time with her. But yes, if she tried it on I would not be receptive.

Sue probably wouldn't fancy me anyway.

I think I might be ill.

Firstly, I agreed with a couple of RCP's posts. Not too worrying I thought, he can't be wrong about things ALL the time.

But I now find I agree with the majority of the comments on a Daily Fail article.

What is happening to me? :( Next I will have a poster of Nigel Farage above my bed.

It's a slippery slope.

As long as it's only a poster.

As was said, I would imagine 99.9999999% had never heard 'slope' used to mean that.

I certainly hadn't.

A well-known pub faces being stripped of its licence amid allegations of thefts, violence, the use of unlawful gambling machines and the employment of illegal immigrants.

Aside from that Mrs Lincoln, how was the play?

No, never heard that to mean anything other than, you know, slope.

It was a cheaky racist joke, the BBC are sticking by Clarkie and may get a fine for being naughty.
Which will be swallowed up by the millions they'll make selling the DVDs and the show over seas.
Including I suspect to Asian countries.

And Stott go and watch some decent Vietnam war films, they've got more slopes in them then the Winter Olympics.

If he'd said an equivalent thing about a black fella, his career would have been over. However, racism against East Asians never seems to count.

I've never heard 'slope' as a racial slur before either.
Is it an equivalent to someone saying the 'n' word, or is it closer to calling a Scottish person a Jock?

I suppose it's all subjective.

Haven't we been down this route enough times with Jeremy Clarkson - people deliberately tuning in just to be offended and then making a complaint? As hobbies go, I hear fly fishing is much more relaxing and sometimes, you even get a fish.

It is BBC's most successful export, the most widely watched show in the world and generates untold millions for the corporation - however it won't stop people complaining that 'it's a waste of my License Fee'.

I've heard the expression slope before in a derogatory sense, but mainly when I lived in America, it was bad, but gook was definitely the number one term for slagging off the 'Chinkys'.

I think her argument would be, Moffat turns on Top Gear, laughs hysterically at racist gag about asians.
Then when she goes for a part on Sherlock WHo, he see's her and laughs hysterically, making his eyes go slitty and says

Me so solly no job for you slopey.

If this happens I think she should sue.
