I just watched it on YouTube. I'm not crazy about talk shows in general, but it seems to be the natural progression for relatively mediocre actors and comics. So for someone like McIntyre who is billed as one of the most recognizable comedians in the world, this is either a sign that he's slowing down or maybe he just genuinely wants to do this.
The Michael McIntyre Chat Show Page 2
I thought this week's episode was brilliant. David Jason's interview was very interesting and very entertaining, really nice to see him talking about OFAH. Jeremy Clarkson and Abbey Clancy were good too and McIntyre was again on top form!
MM sucks heartily from the Devil's cock. (But only if he/the Devil can do it on telly whilst plugging a tour/DVD release.)
Don't be so mean to the devil.
MM is like a sort of hybrid arsehole black hole
I watched it for the David Jason interview. He seemed nice. The rest of it made me angry.
I will not be watching this again.... unless I want to feel angry.
Apparently viewing figures have plummetted.

Meditation may be in order?
I thought it was alright.
It feels a bit like Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, but with the topical bits drained out.
It'll be interesting to see how he treats Nigella.

Yes I am thinking the same. The series on the whole though isn't that great really, Michael is definitely better at Stand-Up than he is as a chat show host.
I haven't seen it yet - or want to. But I get the feeling that Mcintyre is a bit too "nice" and doesn't confront or challenge his guests.
I liked the Bear Grylls interview on the fourth episode.
As the weeks have gone by, I have gone on to loathe it more and more. I'm afraid Michael is better at the stand-up than as a chat show host, I also hate the way they all go off and come on one at a time rather than leaving them all sitting together. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I wouldn't be upset if they didn't make a second series.
Alas, they've ordered a second series. Who knows, maybe it will improve over time. Or maybe he'll just do a stint for a few years and get it out of his system before he goes back to stand up.
