The families of the missing I suspect

I am entirely ambivalent about male circumcision - but I am not keen on adding it to a debate on FGM. In terms of pain, suffering and ongoing health consequences they are as far apart as it is possible to get.

What a blinkered, ignorant and massively sexist thing to say. So you'd be okay with clitoral hoods being removed at birth would you? The desensitising of a sexual organ for religious purposes is okay in your book?

But if we're going to make it a competition - who's genitals are more severely disfigured - then you win the top prize. Woo. Unimpressed

I agree that FGM is barbaric and evil and needs stopping. I'm just not sure that the measures suggested by RC will work.

My methods - including the deportations and visa restrictions - are no different to economic sanctions we carry out on other countries and they seem to get things moving.

Education is all well and good, but if you want the practice to end as quickly as possible rather then waiting decades for the communities to assimilate, then just talking about it is the most microscopic measure achievable.

Who else is fed up with hearing about an aircraft not being found?

I find it fascinating, but that is due largely to my obsession with plane crashes.

Very weird - I am semi hopeful that some of the passengers are alive. It seems very likely to have been a hijacking, and there is no point in hijacking a plane, ditching it into the sea and leaving everyone confused.

Unless your purpose is to confuse people

then it makes perfect sense

I still think it's aliens. Has anybody seen the Duke of Edinburgh lately?

I still think it's aliens. Has anybody seen the Duke of Edinburgh in the nude lately?

I thought I had, but it was just an old coat.

Didn't someone blame it on the Uranians? (I think they meant to say Ukranians.)

Being a baby boomer pensioner myself I welcome the new measures ISA, Pensioner Bonds etc.

Thanks Mr Osbourne. Oh, and by the way, I'm still voting Labour !

Because every lefty loves the pro-EU party that embraces big business, low wages and exploited workers. Unlike those loonys at UKIP.

Tory playfully ruffles hair "There you are, now pop off and be quiet."

This is the Tories attempt to reach the common man a la UKIP. Of course, no such similar message to common cigarette smoking man - only compulsive gamblers and alcoholics are deemed worthy.

Whenever beer went up by a few pence, the pubs immediately raised their prices by 10-20p per pint. Now that there has been a reduction, will the pubs reduce the cost of a pint by 10-20p? Will they f**k.

But some good news, the thug who punched a mentally challenged man and killed him for complaining about bicycles riding on the pavement is getting a new sentence -

Looks like that Facebook "campaign" "wasted" £1 Million on fundraising. What twats right? HAHA!!

Well that's breast cancer cured. No need to raise anymore money.

Very confusing language being used by the media with regard to the search for the lost aeroplane. A potential sighting of wreckage was described as "promising", but I don't think any relatives would really want to make good on that promise.
