Well done FA. It took 110 years to for the club's name accumulate its identity, and hopefully it won't now all be lost due to some dickhead thinking that a tacky rugby league-style name will help with "marketing his brand" in Asia, or wherever.
Owner Assem Allam has threatened to sell if he is not allowed to change the 110-year-old name.
F**king hell, some of these billionaires are like children. I believe the guy is largely self-made, but it's probably still been a long time since he didn't get his own way. Doesn't seem to be taking it too well.
Now it's time to tell that arsehole at Cardiff City where to get off. I live in Malaysia, and he's an embarrassment to most of the people here. Most Malaysians actively ignore Cardiff City just to spite him.
However, I do see quite a few (for a Championship side at least) QPR shirts around, and Tony Fernandes is generally quite popular.
