Got Free Audience Ticket at Pinewood Studios AND

...I have a problem!

I got Free Audience Ticket for Rob Brydon's show on 24th March but the problem is buses & tube in that area (Buckinghamshire) are closed at 7 PM. The recording ends at 9:30 PM. So I have no idea how to get back home (Stratford).

Have you ever been in such as situation? Maybe any of you could help me somehow? Please!

It's not a great distance from Pinewood to either Iver or Langley train stations, which you could look at getting a taxi to. They're on the Great Western main line between Reading and Paddington.

Thank you very much for your reply!

But as far as I checked (on Google Maps), it takes 1 hour by feet to get there & 20 minutes by taxi (which would cost too much)...

Do you have any idea if there's any hostel nearby (or something like that)?

Have you considered offering yourself to Rob Brydon? That way you'd get breakfast as well.

Hahah! You're right! I'll give it a try.

Beaky is just too lazy to make breakfast in the morning

Who told you?

Rob Brydon I deliver him breakfast to his work.

I can't bear this kiss and tell.

I can't see how 20 minutes in a taxi is going to cost too much.

Oddly enough, I used to have this exact same problem when I played for Delaford Colts.

Try ringing your dad if you miss the last bus. That used to work for me.

I don't know quite what query you put into Google Maps, but it's way, way off. I don't live far from Pinewood and can promise you it's about a 5 minute drive between the studio and either train station.

Have you considered just phoning a taxi company near Pinewood and asking them.

Well, my parents live outside the UK so no help from them. It'd be PERFECT if I could find someone willing to give me a lift, at least to the train station.

Aaron:
Is it really 5 minutes? From Pinewood studios to the Langley train station?

I've been told taxi would cost something between 20-30 pounds :/.

Give or take a minute or two for traffic, yes.
