Got round to hearing both this week and last week's episodes yesterday - I'm not really a fan of the new one-liner strands.
I do think it's harder to write one-liners that stand out (with the rise of Twitter and everything), but this approach seems out of place and a bit cowardly.
Just sent off my 2 sketches for this week... on to the one-liners...
Bob Crow is an actual crow.
[Thought I'd at least make it topical]
Sent off my two sketches and one liners earlier tonight. I'm happy with the sketches I wrote this week. We'll see with the one liners. Already have a stack of 12 for week 4, which will suppliment any topical ones that I write. Any that I don't use can get pushed to week 5.

Too soon, Stephen M. Too soon. What's next? Jokes about how Shirley Temple wasn't actually a place of worship?
2 sketches finished. First attempts, quite pleased!! Will read through tomorrow before submitting. On to the one liners.

What a terribly written joke. You should have said 'was'.

That's in such poor taste!
One sketch perfected (but controversial) two others to choose from but need some work
I'm feeling quite optimistic about one of my sketches. Which is dangerous.

Just a general tip (which you should feel free to ignore) but I'm surprised by some people's submissions in "Critique", in that anything controversial and certainly anything which contains swearing or graphic sexual content is highly unlikely to get on air.
Two last-minute sketches from me as usual.
Last in, first rejected.
I put a swear word in. F*ck it!
Mike.
(I did suggest a 'bleep' though)
