Clean comedy songs

Hi folks

Looking for a bit of help.
Trying to find as many clean comedy songs as I can, they need to be clean enough to play on the radio during the day.

Any musical comedians that have songs I could play on the radio please send them too :D

Funky Moped.

Hello John got a new motor.

There must be thousands. How far do you want to go back?

Right Said Fred, obviously. Riviera Cayf. Hello My Darlings. You Need Feet.

And very apt for your station, Donald Where's Your Troosers.

Does Tim Minchin do clean ones?

I think Mulligan & O'Hare's songs are generally clean.

Hernie, the Fastest Milkman in the West, Benny Hill

Bit of innuendo in there though "But Ernie got his cocoa there, three times every week" :P

All harmless fun.........

The Goons did a number of comedy songs of course:-

What about American songs? There are even more!! Try:-

Spike Jones and his City Slickers

OR

Stan Freberg

What about the entire works of Flanders and Swan?

And IIRC Mike Harding may have a few (if innuendo is fine).

Billy Connolly - In The Brownies

but if you're getting paid for this then do your own work!

Ummmm, and not much feedback yet either :(

Joyce Grenfell? Terry Scott? Tommy Cooper?

Yeah I like Terry Scott's funny songs, Cribbens, Benny Hill were all funny with great tunes. Peter Sellers' songs were funny but not so musical.

A favourite of mine from now is the superb John Shuttleworth. You've got to play I Can't Go Back To Savoury Now on your show, it's a classic.

"But Ernie got his cocoa there, three times every week" :P

She nearly swooned at his macaroon

I think all of the Flight of the Conchords songs are clean.

Tommy Cooper?

(See previous - sung to a lilting waltz rhythm)

"Don't jump off the roof Dad,
You'll make a hole in the yard,
Mother's just planted petunias,
The weeding that she did was hard,
If you must end it all Dad,
Please won't you give us a break,
Just take a walk to the park Dad,
And there you can jump in the lake."

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha.......thank you very much.........
