Ben needs to leap in the bath and get ready to go out. He kind of wishes he was staying in though. Endless hours of drinking and terrible sleep don't quite have the same appeal that they used to.

Old age!

Wheee page 5555

:)

Lee is feeling quite geeky and proud that he's managed to somehow set up his Raspberry Pi to magically beam a Freeview signal throughout all the computers and tablets in the house, along with some PVR functionality.

Something which I hope will lead to some sort of TV/PVR server setup; basically I'll be able to pause my episode of One Born Every Minute (starring T.W) I was watching downstairs in the living room and continue the show from the comfort of my bedroom.

That would be rather impressive!

And yay for p.5555.
p.55555 will be even more exciting. Five fives. :O

I considered getting a Pi when they first came out, but I realised I probably wouldn't be able to figure out a use for it. Not to say they're useless, but you need some sort of project in mind. Much like Lee's.

You can buy them with an SD card included that has everything you need already installed.

It's a really nice little machine to have, even if I never use it, I'm still glad to have it, there's something magical about it...

If it were easier to migrate to Linux full time, I would definitely set it up as a main computer and ditch everything else. But there's always a need to go back to Windows for whatever reason.

Rod and Lisa appear to have an illuminated Christmas tree outside, of a funny shape.

"Woman Who Urinates Herself" is on my DVD-wishlist now.

Not often I get a Saturday night to myself. I've been watching rugby and I'm about to have a very nice glass of wine or two with feta cheese stuffed olives. Match of the Day later without anybody getting in a huff. Something to be said for the single life!

Nibbles, drink and the footie?! Why aren't you inviting us all round? Where's the love, rosc'??
