Blue is the colour. Always going to over-shadow red!

Love that original vinyl.
And they were still doing it when I saw them a couple of times in the last 10 years.

Phew, for a moment I thought I'm in the "news"-thread. Thank God it's only a song.

Yeah, used to play that EP loads when it came out - in the early days of punk/new wave, there wasn't all that much *product* at the beginning, so you bought what you could. The band distanced themselves from the punk movement, but I didn't care - that EP was one of my favourites.

and then of course they renamed themselves The Rods for "Do anything you wanna do."
A Danish (!) psychedelic band. The song is from 1967. I stumbled across them by accident; found this compilation in a bargain bin:
I'm wondering if JohnnyD knows them (Of course he does!).

'Fraid not, Gordon.
My Danish '60s psychedelia comprises Burning Red Ivanhoe and Savage Rose.
As we're on a psychedelic *trip* now...
THE FLASH GORDONS - 'HALLOWEEN MASK'
I must be getting old! Yes honestly!
Got a CD by the Temperance Seven and am enjoying it.

The Temperance Seven was a subtle play on words - the number seven being "one under the eight". That there were nine members or "one over the eight" implied intemperance.
I only heard a couple of their songs when I was young but they were forerunners of the Bonzo Dog Band and had Python connections. Pleased to have re-discovered and understood them at last.

Cheesy as f**k
