British Comedy Guide

Comedy Partner Needed

Hello,

Looking for a Comedy Partner in London. Whether your a newbie like me or a experienced pro. It would be good to see if we have good chemistry. I was thinking of making sketches/videos and what ever ideas we can come up with. I'm fully committed to comedy and want to do something different in my life. Hate my day job and would love to go down this avenue.

I find myself cracking up daily at the normality of life and would love to get out of my shell. The type of comedy I like is mainly sarcastic/random public annoyance kind of acts. Taking normal situations and putting something different into it. If you are interested please get in contact, no hate comments from people who think they know it all.

Thanks,

Guess nobody is interested lol, I'm on my own.

Have you tried attending comedy courses and mixing in similar circles, making contacts and meeting like minded people?

If you like comedy then why not stick something in critique then let us see where you're at.

Where's the 'London comedy writers'? Is that a thread, website etc? I did a search a while back and couldn't find a one size fits all thread to bump so left it. I will have a little Google.

I really think the admins are missing a trick here. They need to invest a little bit of time and make a standalone comedy partner dating website for lonely comedy writers to meet up and compare pens and notepads and stuff. Tired of sitting in cafe's on your own? Want to share those frustrating late nights furiously bashing away in front your pc? Has your notepad seen better days? Why not sign up to a-comed-ating.com? Select from our tailored drop down menus such as 'Last ditch before Dignitas', 'Russell Howard OMG!' or 'Clueless drama-school drop-out' and we will find your ideal writing partner in minutes!
Do your knob gags need a little more balls? Do your pompous priests need buckier teeth? Could your tired camp stereotypes do with that extra flounce? Why not get a comedy partner through a-comed-ating and you'll be bouncing idea's off your satirical soulmate in no time!!

if you're in London its a good place to get your script read and meet other comedy writers, if you're into that sort of thing.

Islington.

It's one of the actual people things.

But yes, it has a website.

London Bridge Alexander Dumbass, or have you been going to a random Islington pub and reading jokes.

Didn't it use to be in The King's Head, though?

Yes - the Kings Head at London Bridge as I write this.
