Up the Emirates today to watch arsenal get a spanking. Would expect Rogers to field a full a team to kill the game off in the first half hour. Hope Suarez plays as I've never seen him.

Was a good watch on the telly, unlike the snoozefest Arsenal v Utd game; would have liked to see Liverpool go through and win the Cup - you/they deserve something this season for their exciting, attacking approach/players. Andy Gray (yes, him!) on BT Sport was in no doubt Suarez should have got a second pen. You was robbed!

Certainly was a pen, but Suarez's added pirouette was ridiculous. He might have been given it apart for that. Very even game. Liverpool missed a couple of good chances. Flamini and Podolski were Arsenal's best players. Although once again Wenger took Podolski off before the end. I don't think I've ever seen him play the full 90.

Anybody know what the statue is in the picture montage here?

Doesn't seem to be there now?

Is it Tom Finney or are you taking the piss?

Ozil seemed a bit more *up for it* than in recent games; maybe it's the impending game against Bayern that's got his juices flowing again? What did you think of him today?

No, no.

It was of the moment. It was outside a ground with two men holding a sort off astrolabe (although it wasn't.) One was bearded I think.

Great goal by Neymar at the weekend. Can't wait for the City game tomorrow. No idea what'll happen.

Little worried that Chelsea's season may turn on that lacklustre performance at the weekend.

Who's to know? Everyone's slipped up in the last couple of weeks.

Özil played really well. He's a very classy player. As a fantasy asset I'm not sure. I had him but sold him. Liverpool's best player by far was Philippe Coutinho, but as a fantasy asset he doesn't get you much. His one shot on goal was a beautiful chested hook that went straight at the keeper... Much like Mata last season he's driving games and should get bonus points (otherwise what are they for?) but doesn't.

Thanks. I see you got the subtext of my question. :D

Interesting...

Good to have a slip up in the FA Cup that nobody cares about anymore.

These foreigners are trying to change it beyond recognition.

I'm writing a Blog on my Dad's 1939 diary and in those days they kept replaying until one side or the other won with the second replay being at a neutral ground.

They now want to get rid of replays.

Is that 300,000 yet?

I'd have thought there's more money in keeping on replaying the ties.
