Any meaningful discussion of the McCanns' role in Maddie's disappearance would expose this website's operators to the threat of legal action.

Let's not risk that.

Let's just laugh at mental illness.

Much safer.

Actually I'm working to the stories the Treason Show want as set out in the edit sheet.

For some unfathomable reason the McCanns don't figure in it.

Well done on your meaningful discussion though.

KATE AND GERRY:
Where’s Madeleine? Doesn’t anybody care?

ANOTHER SINGER RUNS ON STAGE, POINTS TO BACK OF THEATRE AND SINGS:
There’s Madeleine! I’ve just seen her over there!

Working with, and having had personal experiences with mental illness. The most offensive thing you can say on the subject, is that people with mental health issues, have no control of their lives, minds or thoughts. Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood, and possibly Gordon Brown have all had issues in this area, are they pitiable figures with no controls over their lives? Sorry but the choice to not take your meds, stick with your therapy, or just lay off the booze is a choice. The right to be mocked is as important, as the right to mock.

Does that include multiple identity issues? ;)

We shall ignore that remark. Angry

I highly doubt anything of mine will get in.

But, I shall keep plugging away.

Thanks for the comments. (Apart from yours, Foxy. I shall be tracking down your IP address and shitting in your kettle. Pirate)

Oh you fool James now all Foxy has to do is shit in his kettle, show the police that post and your scuppered. The only thing to do is an

"I am Spartacus,"

"I'll shit in Foxy's kettle,"

We need more people to take responsibility.

I won't shit in Foxy's kettle. But I'm happy to shit in Chimes of Freedom's. ;)

Very good song. I loved the IRA reference - especially as I was talking to someone about his pipe playing celebration just the other day.

However, there was one verse that wasn't up to the standard of the rest:

I see a tackle by Ronaldo
I get mad, slit my throat
Just when I feel myself slipping away
I hear the words the press always say

I don't see why he would get particularly annoyed by a Ronaldo tackle (also, Ronaldo rarely tackles anyway). But, like I said, it's very strong overall.

You're totally right, that verse was weak. I spent a while thinking of how to tie it up satisfactorily with that verse and didn't really succeed. Can't bear to look over it as I've already rushed it off to the Treason Show!
