I watched Mid Morning Matters when it first aired on YouTube like a true fan I thought it was very good and a lot more down to earth Partridge than we usually get to see, I suppose they could afford to do that with it being a low budget spin off.
Alpha Papa was a big screen outing and therefore Alan needed to be a bit more larger than life. Is that why you thought it was selling out? I thought it was brilliant.
For years Coogan said a Partridge film would never happen, then lo and behold he changed his mind (£££).
Don't get me wrong, I love everything Partridge but for me the film just felt like a drawn out episode of the show with the gags even more so. I'm sure plenty of people loved it, I think perhaps I was just expecting a bit too much.
