Hmmm My memory was deficient about Alomo's productions after the sale to Pearsons/Fremantle. Marks & Gran's own website shows that the later programmes were after the change.

Well I do remember having a beer with Rik Mayall and Laurence Marks in the bar at Elstree, if that helps.

Yes it was. There was a memorable episode with Rik running down a corridor with explosions going off around him. Rather than sensibly pre-recording it, it was done with the audience, technical things meaning that it had to be shot three times with lengthy delays to re-set the explosives. The recording ended at around 1pm, with me and a colleague the only audience members.
