In Shallow Hal his character had sprayed on hair, which was funny but this real life wig is just tragic.

Jerry has had a hair tranplant but it's less obvious becuase he got the procedure done before he went fully bald.

Jerry's acting chops have gone to pot.
His acting was always terrible, it just worked in Seinfeld for whatever reason. His 30 Rock appearance almost ruined the episode's "Seinfeldvision" gag which was genius. Now that he doesn't care... and prob without a real director... it was cringe inducing.
A few years back Jason Alexander had his shining hair moment in an episode of Criminal Minds.

His acting seemed obnoxiously bad while he was driving though. Maybe it was because he wasn't receiving direction in the car. It got a bit better afterwards but you're right, he was never that great.
