Going for a Chinese buffet thing tonight. Can't wait. Not been to one for quite a while.
I find the good ones are good, but the bad ones are now terrible.
Slimy, luke warm chicken, bleurgh.
This is one where they cook it and bring it out rather than all just dumped in heated pans at an island thing. Not that you should knock them. They're quick and easy, but there's certainly some where they just sling out any old swill.
I went to a Thai buffet a few weeks ago. It was a restaurant, hosting a buffet, so I thought the standards were a bit higher.
I've only had Thai a few times, but really like it. There's a good restaurant/buffet thing near me that I must revisit.
Just had kangaroo burgers. Gamey with a hint of spice. Very satisfying.
Just had a bowl of porridge; about three years since my last one. Quite nice.
Had a craving for rice pudding the other day too, so bought a tin today.
Mmmm. I love Ready brek.
Ready brek is sort of Liberal Democrat porridge.
I've never had Ready brek. Remember the ads though.
