You also said the same thing about my highly accurate Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy sketch...and you were wrong then too babycakes.

Even Simon Amstell tried to do that once on Buzzcocks and he couldn't manage it either. If he can't you bloody can't. ;)

I love it when people suggest that 'anyone can write this shit' and then only prove how wrong they are by trying it themselves.
;)

Sorry but RCP was funnier than the show and luxury comedy.

You're like a sarcy version of the nutter in Play Misty for Me.

Heh, I remember that!

I saw it but the joke was Amstell mocking Noel by doing it badly.

Amstell was vicious, like a laser guided, ferret of hate.

Nope, Amstell was not doing that.
I love Amstell, he's one of my favourite comedy people. But you can't try to be 'zany' and do it well. It's natural or it's just not.

I don't actually remember it happening. I don't think I read the thread for his series (at least not until I saw the show, which was ages after it was on).

Simon Amstell? One of your favourite comedy people?

Just out of interest, how so?

I saw him lay down the heavy beats

Er, probably because he makes me laugh, if you can get your head around the concept of someone liking a comedian you don't.
I like his stand-up, his presenting on Buzzcocks and his sitcom.

Great stand up comedian, co-writer of a stand-out recent sitcom.

And his beers not bad

I suppose that's the thing about comedy, it's subjective.

Enjoyed him on the Buzzcocks, not so much stand up and can't comment on his sitcom as it didn't really appeal.

First one no - second two definitely yes. A great host and Grandma's House was surprisingly good.

Lovey

Certainly better then Paddy McGuinness. :|

To be fair, if RCP and sooty found that hilarious it makes perfect sense that they wouldn't find House of Fools funny...
You two clearly have a very special sense of humour. ;)

Wow!

Didn't really enjoy last weeks show

But this was classic V and B

Mental

But mental and funny
