For those of you who remember Griff (if you believe he ever existed rather than being a ghost in the BCG machine), this is a sketch he has written for Teak Show. Very dark - so needless to say one of my favourite sketches we've ever done:
Teak Show: Hostages (by Griff)
Heard about this and finally see it, its great very dark but the pacing and reveal is what makes it so funny
I'm increasingly enjoying joke free skits, where its the character and setting that make the fun
I would watch it but he will probably come in the night and delete it.
Really enjoyed that, excellent performances, and my sort of dark humour, which is twisted without being desperate to offend like a hyperactive schoolboy.
My only criticism is that you should retitle the video: why tell us they're hostages, as that's the first reveal?

Me too, although they're a lot more difficult to write and to be confident will come across in performance (and to guarantee someone else will get it when they read it on paper).

Very good point! Griff would have titled it on the assumption the title would never be known by anyone else as it was originally for the live show. In fact, I have one that is going to be filmed that has a similarly unfortunate title in hindsight. Excuse me while I email the producer right now...
