Thanks George, I've miraculously managed to sneak through thanks to Adebayor's bonus points. I'll never call him a big lazy bag of bollocks again.

Cool! Ross deserves some credit though.

Might all hinge on my half time team talk. I'm planning on chucking a cup of Bovril over Adebayor the lazy git!

1O Points up going into tonight. It's a face off between Mirallas (my guy) and Osman (his guy). If he scores ten points more than Mirallas I'll give him best!

Like I said before, on paper you should be okay, but with *the beautiful game* there are no guarantees.

Sorry, but Mirallas will always be Don's guy, even though he's ditched him. :)

The Cup is as nail-biting as it gets; part of me's relieved to be out, but I really hope you join Gerry in the next round. Wonder what the odds are on you guys getting drawn against each other?

Hoping to wake up tomorrow to trite headlines of "Toffees Come Unstuck" etc. Won't happen though. 2 goals for Mirallas tonight.

I need a consistent defence.

Just the one, and a yellow card. :)

I can live with that, just. You still sticking with Mouldado? Man City next, good time to get rid.

You still sticking with Mouldado?

Of course. :D

I keep seeing little glimmers. His link-up play recently has been as good as Özil. Look at Eto'o at the weekend, a hat-trick from nowhere when I wouldn't have even predicted he'd start. Having stuck with him all season, I'm not ready yet to write Bobby off, and he's only just slipped out of the Top Ten Strikers. He'll come good.

So I hold the same position in both leagues. I obviously have the strongest team.

Top scorer this week *drum roll* is Badge with 68 points. Nice work!

Well done Badge
Red arrow for me

Still flying high though, Steve. :)

Well Stevo looks too far ahead to catch now. So I'm aiming to dislodge Splodge (which is the best rhyme ever) and hopefully have a nice cup run. This weekend looks a nightmare though as my players seem to be playing away from home and have difficult games.

Big thanks to Godot for putting me in the direction of Erikson. He's rather brilliant me thinks and has scored well (so far)

Yeah, but he is though.

That's alright Ross - I had him for six weeks earlier in the season. He was good then, just playing too deep to get Fantasy points.

Well, I'm still trying to catch him. He was pretty lucky this week getting a brace off Adebayor.

Yes It only takes a couple of good weeks to make a big difference
And there's plenty of weeks to go, barely past halfway.

I'm planning to captain Bendtner every week from now in the hope he scores ten goals in one game and he's owned by 0% of managers unless they're insane.

Laughing out loud

But, hey, how dare you! You copycat! Everyone here knows that's my strategy with Soldado.

How confident are you feeling, Steve, about holding on to top spot?

What do you think has given you the edge so far? (Serious question - glib answers not required.) :D

Personally, I've been impressed. When I looked at your January Wildcard team I thought it looked pretty damn good.
