Of course he would. Mata is class and that is something Manchester United are missing!

I was partly asking because Gary Neville seemed to have reservations on Sky about whether he'd fit in with Wazza and RVP.
*awaits Chappers' damning view on the assistant England coach*
Ray Lewington? Why should I? He's a Chelsea old boy.
I'd welcome Mata happily. Can't see Chelsea selling him to Utd though. I'd be surprised if they land anyone of that stature in this window.
I think it's possible. Might come down to price - they want 40M Euros.
Mourinho has already said he doesn't see Utd as title contenders any more, and he's played you twice in the league now so wouldn't face Mata this season, but would presumably like you to take points off City & Arsenal. Plus the Mata issue constantly being raised by journalists seems to be a source of irritation. Might be down to what Abramovich thinks.
What's it mata?
Just a bit of patter.
When George mentioned Mata last night I thought it was just more idle gossip floating about see: Koke, Herrera, Iniest, Pogba et al. However, it now seems the Mata deal could actually happen. Hopefully he'll be heading up north. Much more of a statement than bloody Fellaini.
When the BBC R5 advertised the job that Alan Green has now, did the job description read:
Wanted, self opinionated c**t. Must speak with a Northern Irish accent.
Ooops De Gea.
Wow what a finish!
Penalties
Sunderland win !
Oh dear. >_<
Oh dear,

Not sure if he will fit in with Rooney, unless Mata is going to Real Madrid as well.
